Solanas: Argentina suffering from a “crisis of ethics”

Proyecto Sur lawmaker and possible presidential candidate Fernando “Pino” Solanas ruled out any political alliance with Elisa Carrió or Hermes Binner, citing that whoever joins him must “share his views and his party’s goals.”

“No negotiations are currently taking place,” he assured, adding that any arrangement will be based on his party’s goals and effectively rejecting rumours saying he had approached Civic Coalition leader Elisa Carrió and Santa Fe governor Hermes Binner.

“There’s a lot of hard work involved and for now we can’t provide you with any names,” the lawmaker said, adding that people consider Proyecto Sur to be “credible.”

“People trust us,” he said.

He also blasted the national government, saying that Argentina is currently suffering from a “crisis of ethics,” and urged the population to go back to public ethics.

“Our idea is to develop our country with what we have, not with what we can borrow from someone else,” he said.
